I dropped off my bike at Monarch Honda before I left for Vacation and asked them to clean the carbs and extend my wiring harness to fit the new length of a custom bike. Their guy didn’t start it till the day before I got home after having the bike for 4 weeks! After after all that he had the nerve to go on vacation himself the very next day for a week. I dropped by to take a look at what he had done, and they are all saying he worked on it all day and it looks like about half a days work.
I decided I didn’t want to deal with it anymore and just get my bike back and take it elsewhere. The mechanic who worked on the bike didn’t even clock his hours so they had no idea what to bill me. Seriously though, if they aren’t accurately keeping track of their hours how are they deciding how much to bill people?! Thankfully I got lucky and didn’t have to pay a lot but if I had left it there I know it would have ended up much worse. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Monarch Honda.
